Our Mission
Our purpose is to support educational opportunities for individuals, families and communities that enhance their ability to grow, be safe, healthy, thrive, and have control over their own lives.
We raise support, procure and provide funds for individuals or organizations who deliver education that enhances communities and families. We support education that:
builds on strengths and assets.
addresses areas identified by the local community or participants.
provides knowledge which helps the community or family to sustain themselves.
is presented in a manner which respects the dignity of the participants.
encourages participants to share their new learning with the wider community
augments pathways to build on previous experience and education.
provides feedback on the impact of the support or education.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which everyone has an acknowledgement of the physical and social resources and access to the knowledge of how to use them.
All Families and Communities:
Need help at times to grow, be healthy, safe and thrive. We have a heart to provide ways to do this both locally and globally.
All Families and Communities:
Have a capacity to grow and develop, but may need help at times to reach this potential.
All Families and Communities:
Have assets, and we believe in helping people and communities to identify and build upon these assets.
Guiding Principles
We believe in a basic respect for all people regardless of their circumstances. Support and investment in initiatives are best identified by the individuals of a community as needed by their families.
Our board had the privilege to invite Pastor Conrad Bitoye and his wife Margret to come visit Michigan during our cold winter season.
Pastor Conrad, Deb Booher, David, and Sylvester represent the well drilling team as they receive packages of well parts from Merle.
